The authors of the book “HAIRitage, Celebrating the Legacy of the Barbershop, Art, Poetry, and Jazz”. brought their art exhibit to Sacramento City College. I interviewed them for the Sacramento City College Express. Journalism Association of Community Colleges 1st Place Winner in Video Journalism Fall 2014.

This was one of the most difficult and emotional pieces that I have created. Shihan Marcelino passed aways the next year. One of his wishes was for me to create this piece. I am glad that I decided to honor his wish and give this short documentary and precious gift as a reminder to his family and friends that his spirit lives on.
Here are to very inspirational Individuals . Although their circumstances are different their mission is the same which is to use his or her experience or talent to help encourage and motivate others. They each have helped me along my journey and I wanted to share their amazing stories with you.
